In celebration of World Environment Day 2026, themed “Climate Action”, Conservation Communicator-NG, powered by Addefort Nigeria, as part of the Nigeria Conservation Race (NCR 2026), has announced plan to host a Virtual Conference on June 5, 2026.
The conference aims to bring together environmental professionals, youth leaders, media practitioners, policymakers, and community advocates to discuss urgent climate action strategies, showcase innovative solutions, and promote conservation communication across Nigeria.
According to Mr Olabamiji Adeleye, Lead Consultant, Addefort Nigeria, key Highlights of the Conference Include:
Expert-led discussions on climate change impacts, adaptation, and resilience strategies; Youth engagement sessions to showcase innovative climate solutions; Storytelling and media workshops for effective environmental communication; Policy dialogue to drive actionable climate governance, among others.
“Conservation Communicator-NG is committed to empowering Nigerians to take meaningful action against climate change,” he said.
“Our virtual conference will provide a platform for learning, collaboration, and advocacy, ensuring that climate action goes beyond awareness into real-world impact.”
The conference will be fully virtual, making it accessible to participants nationwide and globally. Registration details and the program agenda will be released in the coming months.
